Thanks so much for this pointer — it helped me get my cron jobs running again! Oddly enough, cron my my modern (late-2011) Ubuntu install will notice a file-only change in mtime if the previous version of the crontab was valid; but if the crontab gets a syntax error or an invalid username in it and gets rejected, then only a directory mtime modification makes cron start paying attention to the file again.

At Mozdev (and my server) we used Subject Alt Names to provide virtual hosting with a single certificate on a single IP address. The cert is shared across the domains, but it's much cheaper than having multiple certs and/or multiple IPs. I would only recommend it for a couple subdomains under the same domain name (like example.com, mail.example.com, www.example.com, etc).

With allot of the online marketing and internet things you need to do, you definitely need to set up an alias email, just to be able to sort out emails from one topic to the next and also keep your personal information secured.

Wow all that is pretty nerdy :) But its useful information when you are dealing with IPv6 devices. Thanks for writing it all out to show us.

Sounds like you might have a reversing valve issue. "Pulling the fuse" does nothing to reset the heat pumps computer as it is a 24Vac board powered by the furnace's transformer.
