Saving Money by Buying Used College Books

Stevie is in college full time and I have been taking night classes part time. One of the ways we save money is by buying our books online.

When our schools open their libraries’ web sites we obtain the list of books we need and then head our searching for the best deal. We usually enter the ISBN numbers into Google, Half, and Amazon in order to find the best deal.

For the fall semester we ordered all nine books online and the total savings added up to be around $150. Not bad considering we only spent about thirty minutes searching and ordering.

I’ve also used a site called campusi.com which seems to be a decent shopping aggregator. I’ve only used it for books, but it looks like they have branched out a bunch in the last year or so.
