Giving to the Local Humane Society

Lately there have been a lot of local news about the Harrisburg Area Humane Society and their need of donations. Stevie and I agreed that we should donate money to them on monthly basis. One slight obstacle is that there is no way to donate monthly from there web site.

No worries, Google to the rescue! In my Google results I found Charity Navigator which has links to Network for Good. Both sites are great, Charity Navigator lets you locate and research charities while Network for Good lets you donate money on a single or reoccurring basis.

We have setup an account with Network for Good and started a monthly donation plan. Hopefully our donations will help out some animals in need, just like someone else’s donations helped Lady (our dog) in the past.
