Linux: Finding the Serial Number of SATA drives

One way to find the serial number of a SATA drive in Linux is to install sdparm and then running the following command sdparm --quiet --page=sn /dev/SATADEVICE (replace SATADEVICE with the SATA drive device, for example it might be sda). Which will produce output similar to:
