Stevie and I have always wanted to have a dog and now we have Lady. We had been looking at pets on petfinder and we even went and met a dog at Angel Pet Services in Dauphin, PA. The dogs we met and saw never matched up to what we were looking for.

So we went to the local SPCAs and we found a dog that we both liked! We started walking towards the front desk to find someone to show us the dog. Just as we started to take our first few steps we saw one of the workers coming towards us, we asked to see the dog and we were sadly informed that a family had just requested to see it before us. So we walked around some more hoping that the family would not want to take the dog so we could at least see it some more. After about thirty minutes we gave up and left.

The very next day, I received a phone call from Stevie; she was spending the day at her Mom’s house and had taken a drive to a nearby SPCA in Minersville, PA. There Stevie and her Mom looked at some dogs and Lady caught her Mom’s eye. Stevie agreed to take her out side and instantly fell in love with her. Over the phone I heard, “I found a dog that I really really like. Can I get her?” She proceeded to give me more details about Lady, and as you may have guessed, I said sure!

Lady is mostly Dalmatian and appears to have some Lab in her. She is house trained and has a very calm and gentle demeaner. She loves to go to the park and run around fetching her ball and frisbee. If you want to see her in action check out the photo album, there are a ton of photos of her there.
